FINTECHNEXT International Symposium 2022: Embracing Limitless Thinking – 25 March 2022
The FINTECHNEXT International Symposium 2022, scheduled for the morning of the 25th March entitled “Embracing Limitless Thinking” will bring together leading international experts from academia and industry to present and exchange ideas at the cutting edge of emerging research in fintech.
Welcomed by the President of University College Cork, the Symposium will include an opening remark by Minister for Finance and Chairperson of the Eurogroup, Paschal Donohoe, TD, and a keynote address on Blockchain research and applications in China by Professor Liang Cai of Zhejiang University. Two expert panel discussions on (1) Digital Assets and (2) How Technology Can Enable and Accelerate the Delivery of ESG Goals will be delivered with participants from Fexco, UCC, Stripe, Deloitte, EY and SFI among others.
Included in the agenda will be a presentation of The Platform for Analysing Carbon Emissions (PACE). PACE incorporates the FINTECHNEXT Forecasting Engine, which uses machine learning and AI to predict future CO2 utilisation and performance of 30,000 commercial aircraft flying globally. The Forecasting Engine predicts future performance and financial exposures to ensure that Co2 performance aligns with international, regional and national reduction targets.
This presentation will illustrate how state of the art IP developed by the FINTECHNEXT team is being leveraged by Fexco within the PACE platform, to enable sustainable global travel and help global organisations make informed decisions about their carbon footprint.
